I am Øivind H. Solheim, author of novels, short stories and a many published articles and narratives on Medium.com. I am in my later years-there's no denying it. I am well past 70 and slowly approaching my 80s.

When I started working on the novel, it came from a sense of necessity. I had turned seventy-five, and I was thinking about my life. I thought about where I was in life, that I had grown old - so old that I had to be aware that life could end at any moment.
